A Beautiful Cape May Wedding

Though from northern NJ Justine + Anthony decided to get married in Cape May. A wise decision! They booked me in a cozy cafe in northern NJ in January…there was snow on the ground.

I was so excited to shoot a wedding on the beach in Cape May that I made a custom one photographer (me) package to ensure we could make it all work.

The day started with a ~3 hour drive from my home in northern NJ…1st photo was of the Cape May Exit 0 sign on the Parkway (not in this collection).

I began me shooting in earnest at a house Anthony’s parent’s rented in Cape May (their first time there). The groomsmen and Anthony’s family were getting ready there. Luckily they had Cynthia (of the wild hair) to help them!

Hotel Alcott was the next stop –there the ladies were getting ready. How much do you LOVE the bridesmaid’s dresses?! Justine’s amazing dress was the perfect weight and style for a warm wedding on the beach. It was a little hot but all discomfort was forgotten as these sweet two began exchanging vows!

A horse and carriage ride and a quick shoot on the beach saw us back at the Hotel Alcott where Alan and his staff even made sure I had a great meal.

The party was a blast and it was like I was part of the family –thanks for all the biscotti, BTW. It was a long drive home!
